ex·pe·ri·ence

a: practical knowledge, skill, or practice derived from direct observation of or participation in events or in a particular activity – Merriam-Webster®

Whether providing training or developing a website, there is no substitute for “experience”. Its knowing the right questions to ask and understanding how to read between the lines when listening to the answers. Experience lets me “anticipate” the needs of my clients – needs that the client often has not even thought of. I not only know your needs, but I have been in your shoes where my business and income was dependent upon the job done by a web developer … in fact the poor quality of work from the programmer was what lead me to start developing websites. I take pride in my work, sharing not only my training and programming capabilities, but my business and marketing experience as well.

training

a: to teach so as to make fit, qualified, or proficient – Merriam-Webster®

I believe that training should tie back to the job that the client has to perform – not just be a dump of information. Computers are now part of our everyday lives and training should show us how to make the software be a natural extension of our tasks – not a chore that makes no sense. I provide online training through mediums like GoToWebinar and prerecorded video training, classroom training, train-the-trainer training, one-on-one training, and curriculum development.

website developer

a: the goal of a Website Developer should be to create an online presence to Brand your Business, Validate its existence, and provide the consumer with the information you need them to have. – Martha Dudley

Branding is the name of the game today! Finding ways to get your company in front of the consumer and finding ways for them to remember you – each is critical to success. No matter what anyone tells you, a website by itself will not be the answer to generating business from the Internet – but it is a critical part. Just like you have to have an address for mail to go to, you need a website to send clients to. Your website can be an online brochure for your business and take away many mundane tasks such as providing forms for your clients to download. Your website can even position you as the “expert” to turn to. There are many types of websites these days. As a website developer, I don’t just give you a website, I give you a tool to build your business upon.
